From humble beginnings to our most recent move to Roseville, MN
For over 60 years, A-1 Vacuum has been serving our valued customers in St Paul, MN from humble beginnings in the basement of the founder's home to a small store on Arcade Street on the east side of St Paul. As the business grew A-1 Vacuum moved to a newer, larger store located on Rice Street at Summit Avenue (no longer a corner) in the late fifties and early sixties. In about 1965 A-1 Vacuum moved again up to Rice Street at University Avenue near the State Capitol because the old store was in the way of a big construction project that eventually made way for the "practice freeway" I-35E. In 1975 we moved in to our next, even bigger store on University Avenue at Dale Street staying put for 40 years until 2015.
In April 2015, A-1 Vacuum moved to 2575 Fairview Ave in Roseville, MN. Â Our current location has a large showroom with a wide variety of top quality, name brands for sale, a fully equipped and staffed service department and a huge inventory of equipment, supplies and replacement parts to meet our customers expectations for fast service and availability.
